In the fall of 2003, at the new plant in Las Vegas,
full scale production was started on the model XR 945,
incorporating all of the changes found during the evaluation
of the first fourteen units. In the course of 2004, the
XR1145, XR1154, XR742 and the XR737 were added to the
product line. It was easy to add these additional models due
to the similarity of design and common components.
In mid 2004, production was moved to a brand new 24,000 square foot facility.
After operating the Xtreme machines primarily in the Las Vegas and the Southwest US market for several years, these machines have been updated and improved along with an increase in the lift capacity ratings. The current complete telehandler product line consists of the XR621, XR621L, XR842, XR1045, XR1245, XR1255, XR1270, XR1534, XR1642, XR2034, XR2045, XR2450 and the XR3034. In 2011 Xtreme proudly introduced the XR 1270 which had a lift height of 70', reach of 53' and Capacity of 12,000 lbs which was unsurpassed by any other Manufacturer in the market. Along with the line of telehandlers, Xtreme also manufactures a line of E-Z Loader truck beds designed for ease of loading and unloading equipment. The E-Z Loader is available in three different sizes, EZ12, EZ18 and EZ24 rated at 12,000 lbs, 18,000 lbs, and 24,000 lbs. respectively. In addition to telehandlers and delivery trucks, Xtreme manufactures a line of multi-functioning cubes, known as the Xtreme Cubes. These multi-performance cubes offer endless possibilities as they can be used as portable living quarters, concession stands, parts counters, training facilities, offices, restrooms, roll-up door storage, climate controlled labs, security command posts, and on-site lubrication and fueling requirements. Multiple Xtreme Cubes can be combined to construct a portable multi-level compound, portable maintenance facility, or even a temporary disaster relief location. In summary, over the last several years, Don Ahern has fulfilled his dream and vision of developing and manufacturing a line of telehandlers which provides superior performance, reliability, ease of service, durability, enhanced operator cab and 360 degree visibility. |
