Xtreme Launches Big New Telehandler

January 24, 2007 Xtreme Manufacturing, Las Vegas, Nev., launched its 12,000-pound capacity, 67-foot lift height XR 1267 telehandler this week at World of Concrete one of the first machines of this size available in North America.
With the outriggers in position and the rear axle locked, the XR 1267 can take 6,800 pounds to its 67-foot maximum lift height and 3,000 pounds to its maximum horizontal outreach of 538. Weighing in at 46,300 pounds, the XR 1267 measures 266x86x811 when stowed.
This telehandler uses a heavy duty roller boom and dual hydraulic cylinders for improved lift and control. Powered by a 130-hp Perkins center inline engine, the XR 1267 features a three-speed power shift transmission supplied by Dana. The Dana theme carries on to the axles. The machine also has full-time planetary four-wheel drive, and four-wheel, two-wheel, and crab steering. Rear pivot steering is available as an option.
Standard equipment includes direct dual-control hydraulic valve actuation, rear axle stabilization, a back-up alarm, and auxiliary hydraulics. In the cab, adjustable controls and a suspension seatalso come standard. With its common-fit Quick Attach system, various attachments can be used on the XR 1267, including the standard, 10° side tilt carriage, and 45° swing carriage; pallet, lumber, and block forks; utility and concrete buckets; a 15-foot truss boom, and a wallboard/sheet material handler.
Accessories and options available include an enclosed or soft cab, a work light package, and rotation beacon. The XR 1267 is backed by Xtremes 10-5-3-2 Warranty.
